The plot: There is no 'plot' as such. The writer talks about each character with much passion. Each section tells you a story about a different Bombay.
The Bombay aspect really conected with me. Every Mumbai resident knows how Bombay is much better than Mumbai. We all miss that.
Each section gives you a sneak peek into 'Bombay Unknown'.
Get ready for some astounding revealations, when you are reading this!
